This piece was inspired by my dad and the way I experience spirituality because of him. I was 12 years old the first time I told him I struggled with God and the injustices I witnessed in our church. To my surprise, he didn’t deny any of it. Instead, he met my fears with unconditional love and honesty, then infused my life with diverse forms of spirituality: books on past lives, A Course in Miracles, indigenous teachings, mindfulness, ho’oponopono, yoga, etc. All of which built my confidence to hear “God” through nature, the universe, and as my own intuition.

This piece is so, so special to me. It has an eclectic meaning, and I hope that it enriches your relationship to life.
